In this paper we discuss several techniques for producing a large variety of cutting board designs. Handcrafted with care in a small shop in South Carolina from fine domestic hardwoods - hard maple, cherry and walnut. It's perfectly sized and will be your go to board for those small cutting jobs. This version is not as thick as some boards and the surface area not as large, but it offers a huge advantage by being lighter weight and easier to handle and store. It uses quite a bit more wood and takes about twice the amount of time to make which is why it's slightly more expensive, but the results are unbelievable! A Great Little Board This is an end grain cutting board where the various species of wood are cut and arranged to produce a 3D effect.
